The Mangawhai Walking Weekend is a huge community effort, with lots of people behind the scenes working to make it happen.

The Committee and Organisers

This group of volunteers works tirelessly to organise the weekend’s events. The weekend could not happen without our wonderful group of volunteers. Our volunteers give their time and knowledge generously to ensure the success of the weekend.

The Guides

Each walk has a guide and two ‘tail end charlies’. Together they are responsible for your safety and ensuring you have an enjoyable walking experience.  They know the track and timing, managing any risks along the walk and recommend what fitness level is required for each walk.
