Do you really know what is in your garden – or in the countryside around you? What do you see when you look along the garden edges or in the wild? Plants, weeds (plants in the wrong place) or wild food that can be eaten or has medicinal values.
Is it really possible to make an edible salad from what can be found growing wild on the land? On the Foraging Walk you will discover within ‘a stone’s throw’ of where you are standing an array of plants which are far more than what they appear to be at first glance. Led by an experienced forager you will be amazed at how abundant our natural environment is. This is a fascinating introduction to the wonder of foraging.
