We apologise for the short notice but regret to advise that the 2024 Mangawhai Walking Weekend (planned for 23 & 24 March 2024) will not be going ahead this year. Due to a range of unforeseen circumstances we’ve had to cancel plans for the 2024 Walking Weekend.
We know that many of you diary the Walking Weekend each year and plan to join us. We are really sorry to let you down this year. However, we do plan to be back in action in 2025 and hope you will join us then. We will have some old favourite walks – as well as some new ones.
For those who missed it, last year (2023) the Walking Weekend made a donation of $5000 to the Mangawhai Tracks Charitable Trust following last year’s successful event.
Thank you to each and everyone of you who took part in the Walking Weekend last year. It was your participation that enabled us make the donation to the ‘Mangawhai Trackies’ who continue to do great work in and around Mangawhai creating and maintaining track networks for the community’s enjoyment.
Look forward to seeing you in 2025.
